Today is Speak Life Saturday (The Faith Accelerator)

Focus on speaking life today... With the words that you speak and the tone you speak with. 

Life and death are in the power of the tongue, and out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. 

Let your speech always be seasoned with grace. 

Here is this week's Yearly Cycle communion meditation.

 Today is the Day of Atonement, which is a reminder that Jesus is our faithful High Priest, and he made atonement for our sins.

His atonement also purified our conscience from dead works so that we can serve the living God.  

And a purified conscience allows us to be clear to hear. 

Some of the clearest messages I have ever heard from God have all been on the Day of Atonement, so be listening today!

Today is like the close of the year on the Yearly Cycle, and on Oct 16th we start the Feast of Tabernacles. 

Atonement closes the circle and then God begins to fill it in with his fullness. 

Today is typically a day of fasting with no food or water until around 6pm, and then they break the fast with bagels.
