This is the day the Lord has made, let's rejoice in it and make today a masterpiece!

Today is Speak Life Saturday (The Faith Accelerator)

Focus on speaking life today... With the words that you speak and the tone you speak with. 

Life and death are in the power of the tongue, and out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. 

Let your speech always be seasoned with grace.

 It seems like every March God reminds me of balance and confidence. 

One of the most important things I think we must learn is how to be confident in God rather than ourselves. 

1 John 3:21 says "if our hearts don't condemn us, we will have confidence before God."

Condemnation and all the ways we beat ourselves up is the biggest thing that steals away our confidence.

But when our confidence is in God rather than ourselves, we can be confident all the time because he never changes.

And one of the things we can be confident in is that God can help us create a balanced life. 

I think balance comes as a gift of God's grace, because it's really hard to do on our own. 

In today's communion we are asking God to help us speak life today and to be confident that he can help us create a balanced life.
