Today is Thoughtful Thursday ( The Purpose & Community Accelerator)

Today do something thoughtful for someone else. Connect them with something they need or do something to make their day. 

This is the purpose and community accelerator. 

We each have a unique gifting that is meant to serve the community of people around us, and one of the ways to do this is by looking for opportunities to help people with your gifts, talents, resources, network, etc.

Lately we've been talking about lifting up your eyes to see the opportunities all around you.

Another thing we can see when we lift up our eyes is the ways God is working. 

In Proverbs 1:24 God said, "But since you refuse to listen when I call and no one pays attention when I stretch out my hand."

Part of the daily prayer we pray is asking God to stretch out his hand to heal, do signs and wonders, and keep us from evil and pain, and from causing pain. 

But if we get too busy or are not paying attention, we could miss all of the ways God is showing up and working in our lives. 

In today's communion meditation we are asking God to help us do something thoughtful today, and we are asking him to help us be more aware of all the ways he is helping us. 

Today's Health and Fitness Tip

Stretching before bed is a great habit to make your joints feel good and to help you sleep better.
