Good morning!
Here is today's communion meditation.
Lately I've been thinking about the story of when the Lord first speaks to Samuel. It says in 1 Samuel 3 that "the word of the Lord hadn't been revealed to Samuel yet."
God was speaking to him, but he didn't know it was him.
Then the priest Eli told him to say, "Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening."
Proverbs 8 says we are blessed when we listen to God and wait in his doorways/gates.
And Jesus said that his sheep know his voice.
In today's communion we are asking the Lord to speak. Let's let the breaking of the bread be symbolic of breaking any patterns of not listening and doing things our own way. And let the taking of the cup be an activation of us listening for the Lord consistently.

To get long term results consistency and variety are both needed.

Hey everyone!
Here is this week's Yearly Cycle communion meditation.
This month we are talking about Resetting Your Imagination.
And part of what determines what's playing in your imagination is what your focused on.
August is a reminder to reset our focus. Sometimes in the summer months we can drift off track slightly, and this is a good time to reset your focus.
But what do we reset to?
Let's reset our focus off of ourselves and onto what's happening for the people around us.
This takes resting and trusting that God will take of us. He can solve our problems a whole lot better than we can.
And as we do this it will make us more present and allow us to see opportunities to be a blessing.
I am praying for you.

Good morning!
Here is today's communion meditation.
This month our focus is Resetting the Imagination.
When I think about the imagination the story of Joseph going from slavery to prison to the throne of Egypt keeps coming to mind.
After he became 2nd in charge in all of Egypt, he had two sons and it says in Genesis 41:51-52, " Joseph named the firstborn Manasseh, saying, “God has made me forget all my hardship and all my father’s household.” 52 And the second son he named Ephraim, saying, “God has made me fruitful in the land of my affliction.”
Think about what had to happen in Joseph's imagination that he could forget the troubles he went through and become fruitful in the land of his suffering.
In a similar way God wants to make us forget our troubles and make us fruitful in the areas where we've struggled.
In today's communion we are asking God to help us reset our imagination in the areas of our struggles, and to make us fruitful in those areas.
...Good morning!
Today's communion meditation is for the month of August
This year our message/theme for the year is, "The Great Reset."
And our message for August is "Reset the Imagination
I like to think of the imagination as the table turner for the soul. Our soul consists of the mind, will, and emotions and I think the imagination is the most important aspect. All day long we have an ongoing video loop playing on the inside, and those images can be good, or they can be things that are hindering us. The imagination is where we can create and draw inspiration to action.
In the story of the Tower of Babel(Genesis 11:6) we see the power of the imagination, when God said, "nothing they have imagined doing will be impossible for them."
And in the story of Noah we see that the world got to a place where "every imagination was evil continually."
In today's communion we are asking God to help us reset our imagination to his original design, so that we use our im...
Good morning!
Here is today's communion meditation.
This month we've been talking about resetting and expanding your God given vision.
And yesterday we looked at Ezekiel 12:23-25 which says, "‘The days are near when every vision will be fulfilled. 24 For there will be no more false visions or flattering divinations among the people of Israel. 25 But I the Lord will speak what I will, and it shall be fulfilled without delay."
The context of this passage is talking about the negative vision God had given to the people because they were rebellious, but because we are in Christ, God wants to fulfill every good vision he has given us, and he wants to do it speedily, without delay.
If you keep reading in Ezekiel 12:26-28 it says, "The word of the Lord came to me: 27 “Son of man, the Israelites are saying, ‘The vision he sees is for many years from now, and he prophesies about the distant future.’28 “Therefore say to them, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Non...

Good morning!
Here is today's communion meditation.
Lately I've been thinking about goals, and how we achieve them. How do we go about achieving the God given goals we have?
The world achieves them through a lot of effort, but I think we are to take a different path and achieve our goals by the Spirit and not by our own effort.
Galatians 3:2-3 says, " I would like to learn just one thing from you: Did you receive the Spirit by observing the law, or by believing what you heard? 3 Are you so foolish? After beginning with the Spirit, are you now trying to attain your goal by human effort?"
This doesn't mean we don't work; we work but as the Spirit leads.
In today's communion we are asking God to teach us how to achieve our goals by the Spirit and not by our own efforts. As we take the bread today let it be symbolic of breaking any patterns of doing things by our own effort, and as we take the juice let it be an activation of achieving our goals by the Spirit...
Hey everyone!
Here is this week's Yearly Cycle update communion meditation.
We've been talking about vision in July, resetting and expanding your vision.
And part of getting clear on your vision is drawing or sketching it out.
Let's spend some time this week getting clear on the vision and drawing out the plan.
In today's communion we are asking the Holy Spirit to help us draw the vision God has for us.
I am praying for you.

Good morning!
Here is today's communion meditation.
This month we've been talking about Resetting Your Vision.
And part of understanding our God given vision is that we can't do it on our own. We will need his help.
When the Israelites were to take the promised land most of them would not go because they were entering a land of giants and were only looking at what they could do on their own. On our own we can't do anything but when we remain in God we can produce fruit that lasts.
In John 15:4-5 Jesus said, "Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing."
In today's communion we are asking Jesus to help us remain in him so that we can produce much fruit.

Good morning!
Here is today's communion meditation.
This month we've been talking about Resetting Your Vision.
But to walk out our God given vision, it's going to take great grace. God's grace is not only his forgiveness, but it's also his willingness to use his power on our behalf, even though we don't deserve it.
Acts 4:33 says, " And with great power the apostles were giving their testimony to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and great grace was upon them all."
The apostles needed great grace in order to walk out what God had called them to do, and we need the same.
In today's communion we are asking God for great grace to be upon us.
Today's Health and Fitness Tip
There is grace available today for exercise, but we have to learn to trust that it's available.
I am praying for you.
