Here is today's communion meditation.
1 Corinthians 10:31 says, " So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God."
In whatever we are doing, are we doing it in such a way that God gets the glory because it's his spirit. might, and power doing the work and sustaining all things.
In today's communion we are asking God to help us do everything in such a way that he gets the glory.
Today's Health and Fitness Tip
Are we working out in such a way that God gets the glory for our results.

In Matthew 28:19-20 Jesus said "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
We have a role to play in teaching other people to be disciplined the way God has taught us. But we need his empowerment and grace to make this happen.
In today's communion we are asking God to help us go and make disciples of all nations we he desires.

Here is this week's Yearly Cycle update.
Sunday evening through Monday evening is the Day of Atonement, which is a reminder that Jesus is our faithful high priest, and he has made atonement for our sins. He has made us clean. Atonement is a reminder of our oneness with God. Think of Atonement as at-one-ment

Here is today's communion meditation.
Yesterday we talked about how God reveals secret hidden things to those with childlike faith and how those things belong to us and our children forever.
After recording that communion meditation Matthew 7:6 keeps coming to mind where Jesus said, “Do not give what is holy to the dogs; nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you in pieces."
I am not exactly sure yet what he is trying to show us with this verse, so in today's communion we are asking God to give us understanding of this verse and to apply it the way he desires so that the hidden things he has revealed to us are truly valued.

Colossians 2:23 says that the world promotes things that are harsh on the body, and this is definitely true of the way most people workout. But this is not true wisdom, because wisdom from above is gentle. Let's take a gentle approach to our fitness tha...
Here is today's communion meditation.
In Matthew 11:25 Jesus said, “I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children.
And Deuteronomy 29:29 says, “The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but the things that are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law."
God reveals secrets to children and those with childlike faith. We are in the 10 Days of Awe, and part of having awe for God, is being more childlike in our faith. Something I feel like God is prompting in me, is to play and have more fun throughout the day. We can bring childlike energy, expectation, awe, and wonder, into everything we do.
Psalm 8:2 says that out of the mouths of infants and babes God has established strength, so that we can silence the enemy and cause him to cease.
Playing with childlike faith can cause the enemy to cease and desist. ...

The ability to stay calm under pressure is very powerful.
Ecclesiastes 10:4 says, " If a ruler’s anger rises against you, do not leave your post; calmness can lay great offenses to rest."
Calmness can lay great offenses to rest and transform pressure packed situations. But, where does the ability to stay calm come from? It comes from confidence in God being with us, and being confident that we have his grace, mastery, peace, and so much more. Calmness comes from confidence.
In today's communion we are asking God to greatly increase our ability to stay calm.
Today's Health and Fitness Tip
One of the goals of our workouts should be to increase what we can do while staying totally calm. There have been times when I worked out and my body was definitely not in a calm state, and I found that those times didn't produce nearly the results as when my body was calm and under control, even though it was doing a challenging exe...

Today is day 4 of the 10 Days of Awe.
The subtitle of Ecclesiastes 5 is 'Stand in Awe of God," and it says, "Guard your steps when you go to the house of God. Go near to listen rather than to offer the sacrifice of fools, who do not know that they do wrong. Do not be quick with your mouth,do not be hasty in your heart to utter anything before God. God is in heaven and you are on earth, so let your words be few…. Much dreaming and many words are meaningless. Therefore stand in awe of God."
In today's communion we are asking God to help us stand in awe of him the way he desires. To go near to listen to what he has for us.
Today's Health and Fitness Tip
I like to finish each workout with a farmers walk (holding weights at your sides and walking). At some time during the farmers walk take a few seconds to stand still in awe of God. This time of the workout can be a reminder each day.

A passage that's repeated in the Bible is that we should be calling upon God when we need help.
Psalm 50:15 says, "Then call on me when you are in trouble, and I will rescue you, and you will give me glory.”
Whenever we have trouble or a problem we need help with we can call upon the Lord, because he wants to help.
In today's communion we are calling upon the Lord for anything you need help with.
Today's Health and Fitness Tip
If you need help with your health, call upon the Lord, and trust that he's going to help.

Here is today's communion meditation.
There are several verses in the Bible, that talk about people being like sheep without a shepherd.
1 Kings 22:17 says, “I saw all Israel scattered on the mountains, as sheep that have no shepherd. And the LORD said, ‘These have no master; let each return to his home in peace.’”
In Mark 6:34 when Jesus was among the people it says, "When he went ashore he saw a great crowd, and he had compassion on them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd. And he began to teach them many things."
The people were like sheep without a shepherd because they had no master. Lately, we have talked about how God is our master, and we have his mastery. Because he is our master he is also our good shepherd who cares for us.
Today's communion is a time of gratitude that Jesus is our good shepherd.

Here is today's communion meditation.
Over the last couple of years, we've talked about the pipeline of living water God put within us that has God's spirit, wisdom, power, mind, grace, peace, joy, patience, love, health, energy, finances, and much more.
Think about this for a moment... You don't have to use your wisdom, instead you can use God's.
You don't have to rely on your level of peace, joy, energy, or patience. You can use God's.
And His supply is unlimited and inexhaustible.
While I was thinking about this the other day, I felt like God said to me, "I have also given you my mastery."
Romans 6:8-14 says, "Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. 9 For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him. 10 The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God.
11 In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God i...
