Here is today's communion meditation.
Our message for July is, " Being Bold Leads to God's Best."
Numbers 33:3 says, "On the day after the Passover the children of Israel went out with boldness in the sight of all the Egyptians."
The word for boldness in the original Hebrew language can mean, " triumphantly, defiantly, exalted, rise, lift, and one different meaning is remove.
A few years ago we did a message called, "Lifted up by the Spirit."
In that message we shared how one of our partners had a tree with limbs hanging down, making it hard to walk underneath the tree. Rather than completely cutting the branches off, an arborist simply trimmed the smaller branches, which removed weight off of the bigger branch. And when enough weight was removed from the branch it would immediately lift up.
In John 15:2 Jesus said that branches that produce fruit will be pruned. But the word for pruned can also mean lift up. God does both at the same time. He...

2 Corinthians 10:1-5 says, "By the humility and gentleness of Christ, I appeal to you—I, Paul, who am “timid” when face to face with you, but “bold” toward you when away! 2 I beg you that when I come I may not have to be as bold as I expect to be toward some people who think that we live by the standards of this world. 3 For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. 4 The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. 5 We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ."
There is a connection in this scripture between being bold and demolishing strongholds.
In today's communion we are asking God to help us demolish strongholds,...

2 Corinthians 3:10-12 says, "For what was glorious has no glory now in comparison with the surpassing glory. 11 And if what was transitory came with glory, how much greater is the glory of that which lasts!12 Therefore, since we have such a hope, we are very bold."
This passage of scripture refers to the Old Covenant and the glory that was fading on the face of Moses compared to the glory that we have in the New Covenant, a glory that is better and truly lasts. And because of the hope we have in the New Covenant we can be very bold.
In today's communion we are asking God to help us understand the hope that we have in this New Covenant, so that we can be bold.

Acts 28:31 says, "He proclaimed the kingdom of God and taught about the Lord Jesus Christ—with all boldness and without hindrance!
Paul got to a place where he proclaimed the kingdom of God and taught about Jesus without hindrance, but it was in connection with boldness.
In today's communion we are asking God to help us proclaim his kingdom and teach about Jesus with all boldness so that all hindrance is removed.

Our message for 2023 is, " God Saved the Best Until Now," and our message for July is " Being Bold Leads to God's Best."
There seems to be a pattern in scripture that when we boldly speak God's word that God begins to do amazing things. And it is confidence and trust in God that allows us to be bold.
Here are some scriptures on boldness to meditate on.
Proverbs 28:1 - Righteous are bold as a lion.
Hebrews 4:16 Come boldly to the throne of grace
Acts 4:30 Disciples prayed to speak God’s word with boldness
Acts 14:3 So Paul and Barnabas spent considerable time there, speaking boldly for the Lord, who confirmed the message of his grace by enabling them to perform signs and wonders.
Acts 28:31 He proclaimed the kingdom of God and taught about the Lord Jesus Christ—with all boldness and without hindrance!

Psalm 119:133 says, "Establish my footsteps in Your word, And do not let any iniquity have dominion over me."
And Psalm 37:23 says, "The steps of a man are established by the Lord, And He delights in his way."
In today's communion we are asking God to establish our footsteps in his word."
Today's Health and Fitness Tip
One of the best ways to get established in strength is by doing an initial easy set and then repeating the movement again at a slightly higher level and continuing to move forward like this. Each set establishes the current level and opens the body up to the next level.
I am praying for you.

This month our message is "Walking in God's Best Today."
The last couple of days we talked about how in 1 Thessalonians 2 Paul said he was gentle among the people like a nursing mother cherishes her children while at the same time he was encouraging, comforting, and urging the people like a father to live lives worthy of God and his glory.
Sandwiched in between these verses Paul said in 1 Thessalonians 2:9-10, " Surely you remember, brothers and sisters, our toil and hardship; we worked night and day in order not to be a burden to anyone while we preached the gospel of God to you. 10 You are witnesses, and so is God, of how holy, righteous and blameless we were among you who believed."
In Joshua chapter 1 God said to meditate on his word night and day, but in this passage we see Paul working night and day. It was Paul's meditation on the word that allowed him to work, but it wasn't Paul working, it was God's energy...
Here is this week's Yearly Cycle update.
During the summer light is increasing, and during this time God wants to expand our vision. He has given us purpose and grace in Christ Jesus before time ever began, and he wants to show us a bigger glimpse of his plan for our life.
The key is to keep walking with him, and he will show you a bigger glimpse. And when he shows you something bigger make sure to say yes, because it will take faith to walk it out.
Here is our filter for this week... Expand the Vision
I am praying for you.

Here is today's communion meditation.
This month our message is "Walking in God's Best Today."
Yesterday we talked about 1 Thessalonians 2:7-8 which says, "But we were gentle among you, just as a nursing mother cherishes her own children . Because we loved you so much, we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well."
And a few verses later in 1 Thessalonians 2:11-12 says, "For you know that we dealt with each of you as a father deals with his own children, 12 encouraging, comforting and urging you to live lives worthy of God, who calls you into his kingdom and glory."
Notice the balance here. Paul was gentle like a nursing mother cherishing her children while also encouraging, comforting, and challenging like a father. This was how he walked among the people.
In today's communion we are asking God to help us balance being gentle and cherishing like a mother while also encouraging comforting, and...
