Here is this week's Yearly Cycle update.
After Pentecost we crossed over to the other side of the year. There is an offensive side of the year, and a defensive side. We are now on the defensive side of the year. Here are some things we must defend.
Here is our filter for this week... Play Defense.
I am praying for you.

Here is today's communion meditation.
Lately the word, "inspired," keeps coming to mind.
To inspire is to fill someone with the urge or ability to do or feel something.
The word inspire is also related to breath.
Some of the dictionary concepts paint the word picture of blowing on a fire, to increase the flame.
We could think of it like in-spirit - filling with the spirit, or the breath of God.
2 Timothy 3:16 says, "All scripture is given by inspiration of God."
The word for inspiration in the Greek language is actually better translated as God breathed. God breathed inspiration into his word.
This reminds me of God breathing into the nostril of Adam.
In today's communion we are asking God to help us receive the inspiration he breathed into his word so that we stay consistently inspired, and in turn we consistently inspire others.

Here is the Message for June.
Our message for 2023 is, " God Saved the Best Until Now," and our message for June is "Walk in God's Best Today."
Last month one of the key lessons for me, was that there is a connection between delighting in the Lord and meditating on God's word.
And David said that he had more insight than all of his teachers, because he meditated on God's word.
This month we are talking about walking in God's best, and Proverbs 13:20 says that whoever walks with the wise grows wise. When we walk with God we are walking with the source of wisdom, and we can't help but to grow wise.
The Hebrew word for walks in Proverbs 13:20 can also be translated as "go, flow, or continue."
If we will go get in the flow with God, and continue with him, he will make us wise, because in Christ are hidden all of the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. And growing in wisdom will lead to walking in God's best.
In the book of Genesis Enoch,...
Here is today's communion meditation.
The best solutions in life are often the simplest. Too often we overly complicate things, when God's solutions are simple.
In today's communion we are asking God to help us find the simple solutions he has for us.
Today's Health and Fitness Tip
Today we are getting started with God's Plan for Accelerated Body Transformation.
The goal is to make body transformation very simple, and we have a challenge starting today to lose 10 pounds in June.
If you already have the program - post into the community today letting us know you are getting started today.
I am praying for you.

Here is today's communion meditation.
In John 14:3 Jesus said that he is going to prepare a place for us. This reminds me of the Old Testament where God sent his angel ahead of the people to prepare the way to the promised land.
It used to be that in ancient Jewish culture when a bride and groom were engaged, the soon to be groom would leave for about a year and go to his father's house. While at his father's house he would be preparing a place for his bride. And the rule was that the place he was bringing her to had to better than her previous home. About a year later, when his father said it was time, he would go get his bride.
I am also reminded of the time when Jesus sent his disciples ahead of him to the upper room for the last supper. There was a room already set aside for that purpose. God had things prepared both in heaven and on the earth.
Today's communion is a time of gratitude for the places Jesus is preparing for us both in...

In Numbers 14:17 Moses says, “Now may the Lord's strength be displayed, just as you have declared."
After Moses asks God to display his strength, God begins to talk about his glory filling the earth. And after Jesus turned water into wine, John 2 tells us it was the first of the signs through which be displayed his glory.
In today's communion we are asking God to display his strength in our life.
Today's Health and Fitness Tip
In our health and fitness, God can display His strength through us, but this requires a different approach. God gives grace to the humble. Taking a more humble approach to strength training, gets us out of the way, so that God can display his strength through us.
Recently we launched a new program called God's Plan for Accelerated Body Transformation.
One of our goals is to focus on developing power, because Colossians 1, says that we can be strengthened through...

In John 14:2-3 Jesus said, "My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.
Some verses translate this verse as many rooms, while others translate it as many mansions. I have been thinking about this verse a lot lately because we have started building a new community page, and it has the ability to create many rooms. So far we have 3 different rooms...
These verses have implication for what Jesus is doing for us in Heaven, but they can also be applied to how we build things here and now.
In today's communion we are asking God to help us understand the place he is preparing for us, and to learn to imitate him in this.

Here is today's communion meditation.
Yesterday we looked at Luke 12:35 where Jesus said, “Be dressed ready for service(action) and keep your lamps burning."
We recently passed through the Day of Pentecost, and Jesus told the disciples to wait in Jerusalem until they were clothed with power from on high. And now on the other side of Pentecost we have a reminder to be dressed ready for service and action and keep our lamps burning.
In Matthew 25:1-4 Jesus said, "“At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. 2 Five of them were foolish and five were wise. 3 The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them. 4 The wise ones, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps.
To be wise we must keep our lamps burning, which means we need oil, and I think this is the oil of the anointing we have in Christ. We can keep our lamps burning by abiding in...

In Luke 12:35-36 Jesus said, " “Be dressed ready for service(action) and keep your lamps burning, 36 like servants waiting for their master to return from a wedding banquet, so that when he comes and knocks they can immediately open the door for him."
We recently passed through the Day of Pentecost, and Jesus told the disciples to wait in Jerusalem until they were clothed with power from on high. And now on the other side of Pentecost we have a reminder to be dressed and ready for service and action.
On the Day of Pentecost, there were what appeared to be tongues of fire resting on the disciples, and now we are to keep our lamps burning.
In today's communion we are asking God to help us be dressed ready for service and keep our lamps burning.

Here is this week's Yearly Cycle update.
Recently we observed Pentecost. It is the center of the year on God’s calendar, which means we are halfway through the year. The second half of the year is a reminder to take bold action. The next marker on God’s calendar is around the beginning of October.
Think of September 25th as a deadline to be finished with projects. Now is the season to focus taking action on our plans. Through the first half of the year, we should have laid a good foundation of preparation.
NOW IS THE TIME TO BUILD. It is time to commit and take bold action.
Here is our filter for this week... Time to Build
I am praying for you.
