Recently I have been flooded with what seems like more to do than can be done in a day, even several days, which brought to mind the passage of scripture in Ezekiel 47 about the water being knee deep, then waist deep, then too much to cross. If you look at the end of this passage the water that was too much to cross ultimately led to the trees producing fruit every month and leaves on the trees that are for healing.
Being flooded or overwhelmed can lead us to a place of life, fruitfulness and healing, even though it might seem unpleasant at the time.
In today's communion we are asking for insight into the passage in Ezekiel 47(which is down below) and we are asking him to help us handle times when we are flooded with too much gracefully so that it turns into life, fruit, and healing.
Ezekiel 47:1-12
The man brought me back to the entrance to the temple, and I saw water coming out from under the threshold of the temple toward the east (for the...
Here is this week's Yearly Cycle Update.
We are in a time of the year for transitions. It is during this season that God often opens doors to transition to new things. If there is a sudden change during this time, be assured that it is God shifting things around for our good. Sometimes it doesn’t look good on the surface, but ultimately it is for our good.
When new doors open, it always takes faith and courage to go through the doors. And be prepared, because on the other side of the door is some work. When doors open, make sure to check that you have peace before going through.
Open Door, But Lacking Peace
In 2 Corinthians 2, the apostle Paul says that God opened a door to work in Troas, but he didn’t go through the door. Paul said that he lacked peace because Titus wasn’t there to go through the door with him. This was very interesting to me, because although God opened the door, Paul did not go...
The 28th of October is always a reminder for me the God wants to initiate miracle transfers in our lives, where he solves problems, makes a way, and opens new doors of opportunity.
In quantum science there are some interesting principles of duality. For example, light can be both particles and waves but you only see the one you are looking for and the other one collapses. Quantum science is also showing it's possible to be two places at one time, but you can't see both. You see the one you are looking for and the other one collapses. Where does the other one go?
I don't know the answer to this, but I know something very similar happens in our lives. For example, you could have some symptom in your body, but then the symptom disappears and we forget it was even there.
As an example of this, when everything was dark, God didn't speak to the darkness, he said... "Let there be light." He focused on light even though there was darkness, and the darkness...
This time of year is a reminder of a fresh start and new beginnings. Part of this new beginning is understanding God's grace. Even when we had fallen short, God chose to cherish us rather than reject us.
In the Bible the words cherish, and understanding are often linked together and something God has taught me is that we must understand that he cherishes us as the apple of his eye. Recently I came across something that said the words "reject," and "cherish," are antonyms or opposites. To reject something is the opposite of cherishing. God chose to cherish us rather than reject us. It's this grace that changes our hearts and empowers us to do the same for other people.
Today's communion is a time of gratitude that God has chosen to continually cherish us rather than reject us and we are asking Him to help us understand this and let it flow through us to others.

This time of year is a reminder of a fresh start and new beginnings. This is a time when God often starts to move us to new levels. This time of year is a reminder to grow in the fruit of the Spirit.
Galatians 5:22-23 says But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
I once heard someone say that these are 9 not different types of fruit, but one fruit with many flavors. I think all of these should come together as a package when we are truly in step with the Spirit. During this time of year, important decisions often need to be made and we can use the fruit of the spirit as a filter to guide our decision making.
Today's communion is a time of gratitude that God planted a seed in our hearts that contains everything we need, including the fruit of the Spirit. And we are asking him to help us cultivate the fruit of the Spirit he put within us...
This time of year is a reminder of a fresh start and new beginnings. This is a time when God often starts to move us to new levels and new levels usually means we need to grow. But we can rest assured that God will be gentle with us to help us grow. It is his gentleness that makes us great.
In 1 Thessalonians 2:3-8 Paul says...
For our appeal does not spring from error or impurity or any attempt to deceive, 4 but just as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, so we speak, not to please man, but to please God who tests our hearts. 5 For we never came with words of flattery, as you know, nor with a pretext for greed—God is witness. 6 Nor did we seek glory from people, whether from you or from others, though we could have made demands as apostles of Christ. 7 But we were gentle among you, like a nursing mother taking care of her own children. 8 So, being affectionately desirous of you, we were ready to share with you not...
This time of year is a reminder of a fresh start and new beginnings. This is a time when God often starts to move us to new levels and an important part of moving to new levels is growing in confidence before God.
1 John 3:19-23 tells us how we can be confident before God. It says...
This is how we know that we belong to the truth and how we set our hearts at rest in his presence: 20 If our hearts condemn us, we know that God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything. 21 Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God 22 and receive from him anything we ask, because we keep his commands and do what pleases him. 23 And this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us.
Today's communion is a time of gratitude that God is greater than our hearts. And we are asking God to help us set our hearts at rest in his presence and get rid of any condemnation so that...
This time of year is a reminder of a fresh start and new beginnings. This is a time when God often starts to move us to new levels. Part of moving to new levels is an increase in numbers.
In Leviticus 26:9-10 God promised the people who were in right standing with him ( which we have in Christ) the following...
“‘I will look on you with favor and make you fruitful and increase your numbers, and I will keep my covenant with you. 10 You will still be eating last year’s harvest when you will have to move it out to make room for the new.
In today's communion we are asking God to make us fruitful and increase any numbers in our life that need increasing.
Today's Health and Fitness Tip
One of the areas where it's important to see an increase in our numbers is in our workouts. Paying attention to and tracking the numbers in our workouts is an important part of progress.
I am praying for you.

This time of year is a reminder of a fresh start and new beginnings. This is a time when God often starts to move us to new levels. But sometimes starting new levels can feel overwhelming. New things usually mean there is learning to do and lots of new things coming at us that we are not as efficient at handling yet.
But, we can handle the overwhelm by God grace. He has grace available today for whatever is coming at us.
In today's communion we are asking God to help us handle overwhelm in a beautiful, graceful way by relying on him.
Today's Health and Fitness Tip
For many people, when they get overwhelmed their health and fitness takes a backseat because they are focused on other things. Health and fitness must be prioritized in these times, because it can be very easy to get off track when overwhelmed with other things.
I am praying for you.

Here is this week's Yearly Cycle Update.
Last week we finished up the yearly cycle and started again. This time of year is a reminder of a fresh start and a new beginning. I have also found that during this time of year God initiates miracle transfers. He often opens big doors of opportunity and breakthrough during this time of the year.
When God opens doors it will take faith and courage to go through, and work on the other side, but his grace will carry us through.
Here is this week's filter(reminder) to write at the top of our journals each day... Miracle Transfer.
I am praying for you.
