Here is today's communion meditation.
Over Passover/Easter weekend we talked with our partners about the following quote.... Always have a goal, always have a plan, but be flexible on the plan.
Philippians 3:13-15 says, " Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize of God’s heavenly calling in Christ Jesus. 15 All of us who are mature should embrace this point of view."
In today's communion we are asking God to give us insight and revelation into pressing on toward the goal and apply this understanding to our lives.
Today's Health and Fitness Tip
In our health and fitness, it's important to always have a goal and plan, and then stick to the plan. It can be easy to drift away from having a goal and plan in our workouts and nutrition.
I am praying for you.

This month our message is The Best Use of Time.
Ephesians 5:16 says, "redeeming the time, because the days are evil. The English Standard Version says, "Making the best use of the time, because the days are evil."
Time can be bought or redeemed, and part of making the best us of time is redeeming or buying time.
In today's communion we are asking God to help us make the best use of our time by redeeming it.
Today's Health and Fitness Tip
In the Abundant Life Blueprint, Health and Time are a pair. They go together and I consider them one thing. Which means that as we redeem time and make the best use of our time, it will directly improve our health.
I am praying for you.

Yesterday we talked about creating great environments. And one of the keys is removing the things that cause people to stumble or get tripped up. In my book 7 Dates With Jesus, we discuss the concept of removing rocks out of a lot of land. Easter was a reminder of the rock that rolled away, and that God has rolled away the stone of our old heart and given us a heart of flesh.
In Joshua, God told the people that he had rolled away the reproach from them. Reproach is condemnation, guilt, and shame. God has rolled these away. Part of creating great environments is removing guilt, shame, and condemnation.
In today's communion we are asking God to help us remove any guilt, shame, and condemnation and to create environments where we also remove these for others, just like God has done for us.
Today's Health and Fitness Tip
If you have any guilt, shame, or condemnation in your health and fitness,...

The other day I heard someone doing a sales training and they talked about the importance of NOT going for the sale or adding pressure to make the sale. He said that rather than trying to get people to buy he focuses on creating an environment where people want to buy.
The environment we are in makes a huge difference. In the parable of the sowing, it was the environment in the soil that caused or stopped the growth of the seed. Having the right environment can cause us to want to do the right things.
In today's communion we are asking God to help us create great environments in everything we do so that it gives us the desire to do the right things.
Today's Health and Fitness Tip
The environment in our physical body is very important, and one of the biggest drivers of this environment is our emotions. I believe that our emotional environment impacts the results we get from our nutrition and...

Yesterday, my family read Proverbs 16 together and verse 24 stood out which says, " Pleasant words are a honeycomb, Sweet to the soul and healing to the bones." And so, we had a challenge for the day to only speak pleasant words to each other.
The NCV version says, "Pleasant words are like a honeycomb, making people happy and healthy."
Pleasant or gracious words are very powerful, and to speak pleasant words means choosing the right words and combining them with the right emotions and tone.
In today's communion we are asking God to help us be people who consistently speak pleasant words.
Today's Health and Fitness Tip
Remember to take a gentle approach in your fitness. A gentle approach does more than we usually expect while also setting us up to be consistent over time.
I am praying for you.

Lately I have been in some discussions about business models, and the best way to set them up. While thinking about this I received an email from myself in our program the Abundant Life Blueprint, titled Business Models.
The email discussed the importance of the business model we use, because we can create a business or ministry that imprisons us rather than sets us free.
Every business, ministry, and organization is unique, and requires a unique model. And I believe God has been storing up the models we need for the right time.
A couple of concepts that I have learned about business models are using models that don't limit capacity, creating a path of progression for clients, customers, and team members, and creating simple systems that can be replicated over and over again.
In today's communion we are asking God to reveal to us the business and ministry models he has for us for each unique...

The Spring season is a reminder of a fresh start. Everything comes back to life and is renewed. This is a reminder for us to always remember the love we had at first... To rekindle the love.
In our relationships with God and people there can be the tendency to get into a rut and lose some of the energy and excitement that we had at first.
In today's communion we are asking God to help us continually rekindle the love and excitement we had at first in all of our relationships, especially in our relationship with him.
Today's Health and Fitness Tip
In our fitness we need a combination of consistency over time and keeping things fresh and interesting. One of the ways to do this is by being more present and making little adjustments to small variables in the workouts.
I am praying for you.

Here is this week's Yearly Cycle update.
This time of year is a reminder to run and accelerate. And it's also a reminder that God put treasure within us.
What did he put within us:

God has a lot of names... He is healer, provider, the all sufficient one, the God of all grace, hope, comfort, wisdom, our banner, love, light, and much more. The other night I was thinking about all of God's names, and I asked him what his favorite name is of all his names.
The answer I felt like came through was... I AM.
And when I asked why, the response was because I AM your healer, I AM your provider, I AM your banner, I AM the God of all comfort, hope, grace, and peace.
Today's communion is a time of gratitude that he is I AM.
Today's Health and Fitness Tip
Let's spend some time meditating on God being our healer, our peace, and our strength.
I am praying for you.

Now that we are past Easter, I think of this time as a 50 Day Sprint to Pentecost. The spring is a time when everything grows very quickly, it is a time for accelerated results. This is a good time to seek God on what he wants to accomplish through us in the next 6-7 weeks. This time is also a reminder that life changing results can happen in a very short period of time.
In today's communion we are asking God to show us what he wants us to focus on over the next 6-7 weeks and to accelerate greatly during this time.
Today's Health and Fitness Tip
Let's really focus on accelerating our results over the next 6-7 weeks.
I am praying for you.
