Here is today's communion meditation.
Yesterday we talked about a progression in scripture which is... Be fruitful, multiply, and increase greatly.
To increase greatly I think it requires having structures and a predictable process. If we were to be flooded with people, customers, orders, clients, finances, etc we would need a predictable process to handle it all. God models this... he is the same yesterday, today, and forever. If we will abide in Christ and take action on what he shows us to do he has a predictable process that will make us fruitful, multiply us, and increase us greatly. We don't always know how he is going to do it, but the eventual result is predictable process to make us more like Christ.
In today's communion we are asking God to help us understand his process and to help us become more him by developing predictable processes that can be a blessing to others and help us increase greatly.

Here is today's communion meditation.
In scripture there is a progression that God often talks about which is... Be fruitful, multiply, and increase greatly.
First, is being fruitful by having transformation, results, or a testimony/story to tell. Then we must multiply by helping someone else get results. The other way we can multiply is by recording the process into different mediums such as video, audio, or writing. Then we must increase greatly. For a while I feel like God has been teaching me about increasing greatly and recently, I noticed in the story of Noah that the phrase "increase greatly," is used a few times to describe the flood waters increasing.
In order to increase greatly I think we need the structures and systems in place to handle the increase. For example, if a flood of money, people, orders, clients, etc came to us do we have the systems and structures in place to handle them?

Lately we have talked about having "One Great Day." To focus on having one really great day where we bring God into the day with us, have the fruit of the Spirit flowing, walk in love, take action on what we know to do, and connect with people.
But as much as we may try to have one great day sometimes things get off track. In order to have one great day I think we need the ability to make quick adjustments, so that the whole day doesn't get derailed.
In today's communion we are asking God to help us be people who make quick adjustments when we know they are needed.
Today's Health and Fitness Tip
We also need the ability to make quick adjustments in our health and fitness. If something gets off track in our health and fitness, we need the ability to adjust.
I am praying for you.

Here is this week's Yearly Cycle update.
It seems like this time of year God always reminds me of the importance of emotions when it comes to our health.
Emotions are the translators between our spirit and physical body. I like to think of emotions as powder in the bottom of a glass: They can be stirred up. Emotions can be felt when they are stirred into the system and are meant to give us feedback so that we can make adjustments.
Any time we are in a negative emotional state, such as stress, worry, fear, anger, or insecurity, we can use this as a cue to make adjustments. When we view emotions from this perspective, they are not good or bad. They’re simply feedback, allowing us to accelerate our progress by making adjustments.
Emotions must be processed and cleared out of the system. The longer emotions circulate, the more they become a part of us. For example, we could start with a little worry or...

A key to having one great day is staying in the fullness of Christ. John 1:16 says that out of his fullness we have all received grace upon grace. It is out of his fullness that we receive the grace we need for each moment of the day... grace upon grace. But sometimes we step out of his fullness. Once I had a time when I was feeling kind of empty and unfulfilled throughout the day, and I felt God was asking me to slow down and spend a few minutes with him. Within less than a minute of getting still he reminded me that there is fullness in him, and immediately I felt full and energized again.
In today's communion we are asking God to help us understand the fullness that is in...

The other day we said that to have one great day we need to let things go. We don't have time to waste getting frustrated, complaining, venting, getting into strife with people, and magnifying the size of problems. But as I was thinking about this, I was reminded that we shouldn't just let things go...we should sow them. I like to think that when I let issues go I am planting them so that God can multiply good things back to me. Faith works through love, and we can express faith and trust in God by walking in love when people make mistakes, wrong us, or push our buttons.
If we will let go of the issue and sow love, grace, kindness, presence, gentleness, encouragement, etc God...

A big part of having one great day is having great energy. In Colossians 1:29 Paul says he worked with God's energy working within him.
In today's communion we are asking God to help us understand that we can rely on his energy within us, which is unlimited, rather than our own. And we are asking him to help us access and experience his energy working within us at greater levels.

But to have one great day requires us not dwelling on things we shouldn't be dwelling on. To have a great day today we have to keep our mind fixed on what is lovely, just, true, pure, right, excellent, praiseworthy, and of good report. If we are going to have a great day, we don't have time waster by dwelling on all of the ways people annoy us and wrong us or to spend a bunch of time magnifying whatever problems we are facing. We have to learn to let those things go and change our focus.
In today's communion we are asking God to help us let go of the things that typically weigh us down in a day and redirect our focus so that we walk out One Great Day... TODAY.

But to have one great day requires us getting the day started right, because it's easy forget when we wake up and start going through the motions. How we start the day sets the tone for the whole day.
I like to start the day with the words, "Let there be light," and then start filling up the basket of praise for who God is and all that he has done. Then I like to pray our daily prayer and spend a few minutes praying in the spirit while bringing people that I know to mind. And to have a great day this all needs to be done with energy and fervency so that we start the day in an energized state. After Bible reading it's time to attack whatever we have that day. Genesis 49:27 says...
Here is today's communion meditation.
Yesterday I was reminded of the power of one day. Today is a gift, but we often go through the motions. Here is a challenge for all of us today... Make today...just this one day, a great day. If you have an area you have wanted to see a breakthrough in for a long time, let's focus on having one great day in that area.
To me a great day is one where we stay connected to God, full of the fruit of the Spirit(love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, gentleness, self control, faith, etc) and we take action on those things we know to do. It doesn't mean we get it all perfect, but we make quick corrections if needed.
One great day can turn things around and it simplifies life... just have one great day today, and then do it again tomorrow.
But we also need to be careful that the demand and pressure of having one great day is not put onto us... we need to learn how to roll the demand over onto God's...
