Lately we have been talking about how God's supply is always more than enough. But, where does this supply come from?
Deuteronomy 28:12 says that God will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty for the people that were in right standing with him.
Deuteronomy chapter 28 is a very interesting chapter. Part of the chapter goes through all of the blessings that are given to people who are right with God and the rest of the chapter goes through all of the horrible curses that will happen if the people were not right with God. The end result of all the curses is that the people would ultimately be destroyed. Galatians 3 tells us that Jesus became a curse for us and ultimately he was destroyed by God for us.

Yesterday we said that God's supply is always more than enough. But, recently we have seen what supply chain issues can do to cause shortages. In a similar way I believe God supplies, but there is a supply chain or sequence of things that must happen for us to see the fruit or result of all that God is supplying. A problem in the supply chain can cause shortages.
On the Daily Communion videos we consistently reinforce the 4 fundamentals of staying positioned in the light, magnifying the light, staying tuned in, and doing what we know to do. I think these 4 fundamentals are each key components of the supply chain that help us to receive all that God has for us and see His supply flowing through us out into the world where we see the result.
Today's communion is a time of gratitude that God's supply is more than enough and we are asking him for help with the supply chain so that we see the result of His supply in our lives.

In the Old Covenant a very high level of demand was put on the people. They had 613 rules that they had to follow, and they didn't have the supply or ability within themselves to be able to walk in this standard. They couldn't keep it.
But in the New Covenant the tables have been turned and God is now the one who supplies. He supplies his righteousness, holiness, grace, wisdom, and so much more to help us walk in a new standard. And His supply is unlimited and inexhaustible.
Everyday life is throwing demands at us and we can look to other people or our own limited supply and ability to meet these demands or we can look to God's supply, which is always more than enough. This is where I believe we must understand that the tables have been turned and we must learn how to put a demand on God's supply rather than looking to ourselves.

In 2 Chronicles 24 God's temple is being restored. In verse 13 it says, "The men in charge of the work were diligent, and the repairs progressed under them. They restored the temple of God according to its original design and strengthened(or reinforced) it."
Yesterday we said that if we are God's children it means we also have his genes. Genetics is our programming, think of it like software coding. God has given us a major software update but this must be received. I know there have been several times when my phone wanted to do a software update but I rejected it because the updates cause changes and I have to relearn how to do stuff. Our bodies are God's temple now and I believe he is showing me that he wants the temple restored to it's original design, but we must receive the upgrade and take the time to learn how to do things in a new way.

Yesterday we did the communion meditation asking God for wisdom and insight on what it means for us that we are His children. As I was thinking about this I felt God was saying.. that if we are His children it also means we have His genes. I know this is probably a new idea(for me included) but His genes and genetics are meant to restore our bodies to His original design. Our bodies are God's temple, and in the Old Testament God had a certain design he wanted for the temple.
Today's communion is a time of gratitude that we are God's children. And we are asking for wisdom and understanding of what this means for us that since we are His children we also have his genes, and how this is meant to restore our bodies to their original design.

Yesterday my wife and I were talking about how people experience true change and transformation in their lives. She has worked with people on their health for as long as I have, and we both came to the conclusion that so much of true lasting change comes from a change of heart and our identity. Much of our daily decision making comes down to who we see ourselves to be.
As I was thinking about this I came across Deuteronomy 14:1 this morning where God tells the people, " You are the children of God," and then God goes on to tell them ways that children of God live. But before he showed them what to do, he reinforced who they were.
Today's communion is a time of gratitude that we are children of God. And we are asking God to help us walk in our identity as His children and for him to teach us how to do so.

In Deuteronomy 9 God told the people he was not bringing them into the promised land because they were so great. He didn't bring them in because of their righteousness or goodness. He was bringing them in because of the wickedness that was in the promised land and because of his covenant with Abraham. In fact, if it hadn't been for Moses, God would have destroyed the people, because they kept rebelling.
In Deuteronomy 9:13 God said, “I have seen this people, and they are a stiff-necked people indeed! 14 Let me alone, so that I may destroy them and blot out their name from under heaven."
In the same way we have all missed it and could have been destroyed by God. But Jesus was destroyed for us, so that we didn't have to be.

This time of year is a reminder that times of refreshing come from the presence of the Lord. The spring is a reminder that God makes all things new and he wants to bring some fresh energy into our lives. This rekindled energy comes from his presence.
Acts 3:19 says, therefore repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord;
In the Abundant Life Blueprint, there are what I call refreshing pairs:

● Family and time refresh each other

In the Old Testament when the people crossed over the Jordan River into the promised land one of the first things that had to happen was all of the men had to be circumcised. Circumcision was a symbol of their covenant with God and it also symbolized a cutting away, leaving the past behind, as they prepared to enter into what God had for them.
Colossians 2:11 tells us, "In Him you were also circumcised, in the putting off of your sinful nature, with the circumcision performed by Christ and not by human hands."
Romans 2:29 says, "No, a person is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is circumcision of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the written code. Such a person’s praise is not from other people, but from God."
