Here is this week's Yearly Cycle update.
Tomorrow is the 8th Day of the Feast of Tabernacles, which was called the Last Great Day. It was the day when Jesus stood up and said, "If anyone believes in me, then out of his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.
The 8th Day is a reminder of God's grace and new beginnings. We have his grace and favor which leads to a fresh start. It's also a time of the year when God starts to transition us to new things, so be prepared for transfers and repositioning over the upcoming weeks.
Here is our filter for this week... The Last Great Day
I am praying for you.

Here is today's communion meditation.
Lately we've been talking and how God watches over His word to perform it, and how he always fulfills his promises.
Another amazing verse to meditate on is 1 Samuel 3:19 which says, "The LORD was with Samuel as he grew up, and he let none of Samuel’s words fall to the ground."
If we believe in Jesus then God is with us just as He was with Samuel. I think God wants to do the same for us, where none of our words fall to the ground. He fulfills them for us.
Today's communion is a time of gratitude that God can also fulfill our words, and we are asking Him to help us speak in such a way that the things we speak are good things to be fulfilled.
Today's Health and Fitness Tip
Bring presence into your workouts. Instead of doing 8 or 10 reps of an exercise, think of it as 1 rep 8 times. Focus on executing that one rep beautifully, then do it again.
I am praying for you.

Here is today's communion meditation.
Yesterday we talked about Joshua 23:14 which says, "You know with all your heart and soul that not one of all the good promises the Lord your God gave you has failed. Every promise has been fulfilled, not one has failed."
And this reminded me of Jeremiah 1:12 which says, "Then the LORD said to me, “You have seen well, for I am watching over my word to perform it.”
Today's communion is a time of gratitude that God watches over his word to fulfill his promises, and that we can trust in him.
Today's Health and Fitness Tip
Make sure to leave a little margin in your workouts, especially on the days when you feel great. This is counterintuitive, but just like you shouldn't spend all you have when you get a big chunk of money, don't use up all your strength and energy when you feel great, because it will build some reserves for the days when you are lower on energy.
I am praying for you.

Here is today's communion meditation.
Recently I've been thinking about how faithful and trustworthy God is in fulfilling his promises.
Joshua 23:14 says, "You know with all your heart and soul that not one of all the good promises the Lord your God gave you has failed. Every promise has been fulfilled, not one has failed."
Today's communion is a time of gratitude that God always fulfills his promises and we are asking Him to help us be more like him.

The other day my wife and I were talking about getting mini-workouts throughout the day and she used the term, "exersnacks."
Exersnacks are one of the easiest and best ways I've found to improve fitness.
I am praying for you.

P.S. Today is day 5 of the 7 days of the Feast of Tabernacles(Sukkot), a time to rejoice in all God has done.
Here is today's communion meditation.
Several years ago, we visited the Wright Brothers Museum in Kitty Hawk, NC. While we were there, I learned that one of the biggest problems the Wright Brothers had while trying to develop a working airplane was how to give the pilot control.
God had a similar problem, in that he had to give us control of our lives. He gives us self-control with the ability to make choices.
I find it interesting that in Acts 24:24-25 when Paul talks with the ruler Felix he talks about righteousness, self-control, and the judgment to come. Why these 3 things? Self-control is one of the most important things he wanted to convey.
In today's communion we are asking God to teach us about the self-control he's given us in Christ.
Today's Health and Fitness Tip
One of the qualities to train is control, and the best way to do this is by slowing movements down.
I am praying for you.

Here is today's communion meditation.
Recently we've been talking about Isaac redigging the wells that his father Abraham had dug. In Genesis 26:19 it says, "Isaac’s servants dug in the valley and discovered a well of fresh water there."
In the original Hebrew of this verse, it says that Isaac found a well of "living water."
And later in Genesis 26:32-33 it says that Isaac named one of the wells Shibah and the town where the well was Beersheba. This name means well of the oath, but another translation is the well of seven.
I find this very interesting because we are in the Feast of Tabernacles, which is the 7th feast on God's calendar(and it lasts 7 days) and during this feast Jesus stood up and said that if anyone would believe in him, then rivers of living water would flow from within them.
In today's communion we are asking Jesus to teach us what the well of the oath or seven means for us.

Here is the Message for October
Our message for 2023 is, " God Saved the Best Until Now," and our message for October is "God's Best Will Take You to New Levels."
Recently we passed through the Day of Atonement, which was like the close of the year. Think of the Yearly Cycle like going around a mountain, and every time we go around the cycle we should be moving up to a higher level.
On the Day of Atonement I feel God gave me a word for the upcoming year, which is "The Great Resetting Has Begun"
After hearing this I was listening to one of our teachings on the Year of Jubilee, which was a resetting of the economy in Israel. Every 50th year, debts were wiped out and people were restored to their inheritance. The start of the Year of Jubilee was always the Day of Atonement. Atonement starts the reset, and God is resetting some things to take us to new levels.
Our monthly filter for October is... God's Best Will Take You to New Levels.

This all reminded me of the story of Jesus talking to the woman at the well. In John 4:10 he told her, "If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water.”
In today's communion we are asking Jesus for the living water.

Try breaking your workout into several mini workouts throughout the day.

In Genesis 26 is the story of Isaac redigging the wells that his father Abraham had dug. The wells had been stopped up and Isaac began to redig them. In Genesis 26:19 it says, "Isaac’s servants dug in the valley and discovered a well of fresh water there."

Today we are in the Feast of Tabernacles and during this feast Jesus stood up and said that if anyone would believe in him, then rivers of living water would flow from within them.

Today's Health and Fitness Tip
Practice relying on the well of living water within you during your workouts. Rely on God's grace and power to do the work.

P.S. Today is day 1 of the 7 days of the Feast of Tabernacles(Sukkot), a time to rejoice in all...
Here is this week's Yearly Cycle update.
Tonight starts the Feast of Tabernacles which is a reminder that God is tabernacling with us. He has moved in and is living with us. The creator of the universe is living in us. This feast is a reminder to let his love flow out of us to others and that he is always present, which means we should be more present with others.
Something I feel like God has been teaching me to do lately is say the following all throughout the day, especially when something isn't going well... God is with me, He loves me, and nothing is impossible for Him.
Over these seven days, it is good to take some time to dwell on the fact that God is dwelling with us.
In the Jewish culture, people typically eat stuffed foods, such as stuffed peppers, to symbolize overflow and the idea of God living within us.
Here is our filter for this week... God is Tabernacling With Me
I am praying for you.
