7 Dates With Jesus Part 7 Atonement

Uncategorized Apr 13, 2020

On God's calendar we are in a 7 week sprint to the day of Pentecost. Then following Pentecost there is a large gap in the year until the fall feasts of Trumpets, the Day of Atonement, and Tabernacles.

Down below is the 7 Dates With Jesus training on the Day of Atonement

Summary of Day of Atonement

In the Old Testament the Day of Atonement was considered the holiest day of the year because it was the one day when the High Priest could enter the Holy of Holies and makes atonement for the sins of the people for the year. But these sacrifices could only cover the sins and the people still held onto them in their conscience. Jesus is now our High Priest and his sacrifice is able to not only cover our sins but to cleanse them. He paid for you to have a clear conscience.

The Day of Atonement is a reminder that Jesus wants to help you navigate the tests, trials, and temptations of life successfully. In life there will be pressure and things that must be...

7 Dates With Jesus Part 6 Feast of Trumpets

Uncategorized Apr 12, 2020

Happy Easter! Today as we are reminded that the rock was rolled away and Jesus is risen we move onto the training on the Feast of Trumpets.

Here is a summary of the Feast of Trumpets

The trumpet is a wake up call. It is a call to take action and to exercise your faith. Faith without works is dead. It is a reminder to put off the old self, be renewed in your mind, and put on the new self. It is a reminder that God wants to make us new.

We were buried with Jesus in baptism and raised to new life with him when we came up out of the water.

Trumpets is also a reminder that after Jesus was raised from the dead God seated him at his right hand in heaven far above all the powers of evil, and we are seated with him. The key to this is beginning to view your life from a heavenly perspective and to set your mind on the things of heaven.

Begin to exercise a heavenly perspective in your purpose, health, family, finances, order, time, and community.

7 Dates With Jesus Part 5 Pentecost

Uncategorized Apr 11, 2020

From the day of First Fruits (yesterday) the people were told to count 50 days until the day of Pentecost (May 30th). After Jesus rose from the dead he appeared to the disciples and taught them about the kingdom of God, and then told them to wait until Pentecost when they would be clothed with power from on high.

Here are some themes to be thinking about for this season.

This is a 50 day sprint to the day of Pentecost.

  • Spring is a time of refreshing and also rapid growth.
  • God wants to do something new this year. When he shows you what to do, it's time to run.
  • Spring is the when you sow seeds. What new thing does God want you to sow/invest into?
  • Spring is also when kings go to battle.

Summary of Pentecost

Pentecost is about living a life coordinated and navigated by the Holy Spirit. He has been sent to guide you into all truth and show you the direction your life should be moving. Part of...

7 Dates With Jesus Part 4 First Fruits

Uncategorized Apr 10, 2020

Today is the day of First Fruits, which is a reminder that Jesus was raised from the dead and presented himself as the First Fruits from the dead to God.

Here is a summary of the First Fruits video.

First Fruits is very similar to Easter. It is a reminder that on the 3rd day the rock was rolled away and Jesus was raised from the dead. Then he presented himself to God as the First Fruits from the dead. God then took the Spirit of Jesus and sowed it as a seed into our hearts.

Before God planted this seed in our hearts, he gave us a new heart. We used to have hearts of stone, but God rolled away our hearts of stone and gave us a new heart of flesh, with his laws written on our hearts.

God rolling away our hearts of stone is a picture of him rolling away guilt, condemnation, and shame from our past. He rolled it all away and made our hearts new.

Our hearts are like soil. When the rock is rolled away our hearts are prepared to have the God's seed...

7 Dates With Jesus Part 3 Unleavened Bread

Uncategorized Apr 09, 2020

Today starts the 7 day feast of Unleavened Bread.

In Numbers 33:3 it says that on the day after Passover the Israelites marched triumphantly out of Egypt in the sight of all the Egyptians. 2 Corinthians 2:4 says thanks be to God who always leads us in triumphal procession. Today is a reminder that God always causes us to triumph and he wants to make a victory parade out of it.

Here is the training from 7 Dates With Jesus on Unleavened Bread

Here is a summary of Unleavened Bread

The Feast of Unleavened Bread is celebrate for 7 days by removing all leaven from your diet and replacing it with unleavened bread( Matzo crackers). Jesus said that he is the bread that came down from heaven. Matzo crackers are a symbol of his sinless body. The crackers have piercings and stripes, which remind us that he was pierced for our transgressions and by his stripes we are healed.

The Feast of Unleavened Bread is about understanding righteousness. Jesus bore our...

7 Dates Seminar Part 2 Passover

Uncategorized Apr 08, 2020

Tonight is Passover. This was the night that Jesus instituted communion. If you don't do the full Passover it would be a good idea to take communion as a point of remembrance.

Here is a summary of Passover

Passover is a reminder that Jesus has set you free and translated you out of the kingdom of darkness and into the kingdom of light.

The traditional Passover meal includes...

  • Lamb - Jesus is the lamb of God and our Passover lamb
  • Unleavened Bread - to remember they left Egypt in haste and God wants to bring us out quickly
  • 4 Cups of Wine - to remember the blood of the Lamb that protects and sets free
  • Bitter vegetables - to remember the bitterness of slavery - we were all slaves to sin but Jesus set us free.

The word Passover in Hebrew is Pesach which means talking mouth.

We are supposed to be talking about where Jesus has brought us from and God said that when you do the Passover it would provide an opportunity to speak to your children about what God...

7 Dates With Jesus Seminar Part 1

Today starts the training on 7 Dates With Jesus: Crossing Over Into Abundant Life.

Over the next week I am going to be posting about an hour per day of video/audio. To accelerate getting through the content try listening while doing chores, cooking, working out etc. You can take notes later. Just get it in.

Intro Summary

To live a balanced life you must balance the spiritual, mental/emotional, and practical areas of life. For a long time I had zero spiritual life. This changed when I came across a challenge to read 1 chapter from Proverbs every day. One day Proverbs 13:22 jumped out at me which says a good man leaves an inheritance for his children's children. From that point on I made a commitment to write manuals to pass on to my kids for how to live a better life. 7 Dates With Jesus is the spiritual training for how to connect with God, find your purpose, accelerate spiritual growth, and cross over into an abundant life.

7 Dates With Jesus Tomorrow

Uncategorized Apr 06, 2020

Tomorrow we will start the series on 7 Dates With Jesus: Crossing Over Into Abundant Life with an introduction into the 7 Feasts of Israel and to understanding God's timing.

Many people will point out that the feasts are in the Old Testament and that they don't pertain to us any more, but here is why they are important.

  • Each feast gives you insights into what Jesus has done for you.
  • Each feast is an opportunity for remembrance of Jesus. Think of the way we use Christmas and Easter as times of remembrance.
  • The feasts teach you much about God's timing and the order he does things.

Each day I will be posting the training at www.abundantlifetrainingcenter.com and I will also be emailing you the video and audio each day.

If you have friends or family members who would like to get the emails you can send them this link.

Live 7 Dates With Jesus

Uncategorized Apr 05, 2020

Every Spring I do a live seminar on my book 7 Dates With Jesus.

7 Dates With Jesus is based on the 7 Feasts of Israel and teaches God's timing and calendar. Each feast also teaches an angle of what Jesus has done for you. When you put them all together it is a very powerful way to accelerate spiritual growth. Several people have told me they have grown more in 1 year from this than their previous 20-30 years of being a Christian.

With all that is going on in the world it's important to understand God's timing and calendar. This year I will be teaching the seminar online for free and I am going to teach several of the lessons on the actual feast days. For example, Passover is coming up on Wednesday night, and we will do the Passover training that day.

Here is the schedule...

  • Tuesday April 1: An intro to the feasts
  • Wednesday April 8th: Passover
  • Thursday April 9th: Unleavened Bread
  • Friday April 10th: First Fruits
  • Saturday April 11th: Pentecost
  • Sunday April 12th: Trumpets
  • ...

Conscience

Uncategorized Apr 04, 2020

Right now we are in a time where it is important to have strong faith.

Faith makes you grateful, adaptable, positive, and eliminates fear because you are not relying on yourself, but on God.

But, not everyone has strong faith, and it is important that you don't let the exercising of your faith become a stumbling block for others.

You can have faith to move mountains but if you have not love then it accounts for nothing.

If someone has weak faith or no faith the exercising of strong faith could cause issues in their conscience and make them stumble.

For example, you may have no fear of sickness but someone around you does. In these cases, the loving thing would be to do nothing that would increase their fear. If washing your hands another time or wearing a mask decreases their fear then do it out of love.

P.S. Faith comes by hearing. Pay attention to what you are hearing in this season. It is either causing fear or faith.  If you want something...
