Good morning!
Here is today's communion meditation.
Lately, we've talked about overcoming.
John 1:5 says " The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it."
And we talked about how Jesus said to be of good cheer when we face problems, because he has overcome the world.
And 1 John 5:4, "“For whatever is born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.”
Today let's look at 1 John 4:4 which says, "Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world."
When we face issues or problems it's important to remember that God is with us, and he is greater than the world.
In my new program, "Make Today a Masterpiece," one of the concepts is that we need to keep remembering that God is with us, he loves us, and nothing is impossible for him. We can take action trusting that he can help us...

This is a time of the year to be examining the sequencing of what we are doing.
Sequencing makes a big difference. If you put your shoes on first and then your socks, or your pants on first and then your underwear it doesn't work very well.
When things are done in the proper order or sequence it brings ease and simplicity, but when we do things out of order it feels hard and frustrating.
In today's communion we are asking God to teach us about the importance of sequencing and to teach us how to do things in the proper order and sequence so that everything gets easier.
I am praying for you.

Good morning!
Here is today's communion meditation.
The other day we talked about John 1:5 which says,
" The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it."
And we talked about how Jesus said to be of good cheer when we face problems, because he has overcome the world.
This reminded me of 1 John 5:4, "“For whatever is born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.”
In today's communion we are asking God to help us understand how our faith brings us into the light and helps us overcome darkness and the world.
Today's Health and Fitness Tip
As we develop strength, we are growing in the ability to overcome a greater level of resistance. And to grow stronger takes consistent practice. Strength comes through practice and repetition.

This month our message is, "Factory Reset."
A factory reset is when a device is restored to the way it was when it left the factory.
I think part of a factory reset for us this month is resetting the way we view "today."
We often go through the motions of the day and get stuck in ruts of doing the same things over and over again.
But today is a gift.
Psalm 118:24 says, " This is the day the Lord has made;We will rejoice and be glad in it."
In today's communion we are asking God to help us reset the way we view "today."
Today's Health and Fitness Tip
Make the most of your workout today. Much of this has to do with the way you show up.

Good morning!
Here is today's communion meditation.
Lately I've been thinking about a verse in John 1:5 which says,
" The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it."
In life we will face issues and problems, but Jesus said to be of good cheer, because he has overcome the world.
If you are walking in the light... Keep remembering that darkness can't overcome the light.
In today's communion we are asking God to help us understand the light he has put within us and how His light overcomes darkness.
Today's Health and Fitness Tip
On the days when you are lower in energy and don't feel like exercising ask yourself this question... "What can I do?"
I am praying for you.

Recently we talked about how Jesus, "purchased us with His blood," and how it's interesting that His blood was the currency used.
The other day I came across another scripture that combines the ideas of currency and blood.
In Genesis 9:5 it says, "And for your lifeblood I will surely demand an accounting. I will demand an accounting from every animal. And from each human being, too, I will demand an accounting for the life of another human being.
Blood demands an accounting, which is another financial term.
In today's communion we are asking God to teach us about the connection between accounting and the blood of the covenant.

Are you tracking your progress in your workouts? Accounting is tracking.
I am praying for you.

Here is today's communion meditation.
How do we respond when we are at a crossroads in our lives? Crossroads can be defining moments.
In Genesis 11:31 it says, " Terah took his son Abram, his grandson Lot son of Haran, and his daughter-in-law Sarai, the wife of his son Abram, and together they set out from Ur of the Chaldeans to go to Canaan. But when they came to Harran, they settled there."
Abraham's father Terah left his country to go to Canaan, which was the promised land. But when he reached Harran, he settled there. Haran means "crossroads." When Terah reached a crossroads, he settled there and didn't keep going to the promised land. I think this is why God had to later call Abraham to leave Harran and go to Canaan, because his father had stopped, he didn't keep pressing on to what God had for him.
In today's communion we are asking God to help us to courageously keep moving toward what he has for us when we reach a...

This year our message is 'The Great Reset," and our message for February is "Factory Reset."
A factory reset is when a device is restored to the way it was when it left the factory.
The other day we talked about how in 2 Chronicles 24 the temple of God was restored to the original design... And we are God's temple now.
Jeremiah 30:17 says, "But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds,’ declares the LORD.
Isaiah 38:16 says, "You restored me to health and let me live."
In today's communion we are asking God to restore our bodies to His original design for us.
Today's Health and Fitness Tip
We often know what to do but fail to take action. If we want a factory reset in our body it requires taking action. When we get started God starts working with us. Remember these 2 questions... "What do I know to do?" and "What can I do?"
I am praying for you.

P.S. Remember the Master...
Hey everyone!
Here is this week's Yearly Cycle update communion meditation
It seems like every year in February God reminds me how important our emotions are for our health.
Emotions are the translators between our spirit and physical body.
Emotions can be felt when they are stirred into the system.
Emotions are meant to give us feedback so that we can make adjustments.
Emotions will let us know when we are believing something that isn’t true.
And we can use negative emotional states as a cue to make adjustments. When we view emotions from this perspective, they are not good or bad. They’re simply feedback, allowing us to accelerate our progress by making adjustments.
I am convinced that germs don’t make us sick. We are exposed to germs all the time. Take a look back at the last time you were sick, and I can almost guarantee that you were in some kind of negative emotional state a few...

Here is today's communion meditation.
Revelation 14:13 says, "Then I heard a voice from heaven say, “Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.” “Yes,” says the Spirit, “they will rest from their labor, for their deeds will follow them.”
The phrase, " Their deeds will follow them," really stands out to me.
I think of this kind of like investing into things that compound and earn passive income.
The good things that we do will keep working and compounding even when we are resting.
In today's communion we are asking God to teach us about this verse and help us keep doing good even when we don't see the fruit right away.
Today's Health and Fitness Tip
It takes stringing together a lot of good meals and workouts to see true transformation. It doesn't happen right away, and there can be the tendency to give up too early before your deeds have had the chance to compound. If you are...
